Are you struggling with a relationship? Is the person with whom you would like things to be different unwilling to/uninterested in participating in therapy at this time? As a psychologist, I understand the multi-layered effects of relationship strain on individuals, whether it be with a partner, a family member, or a friend. Although you might feel stuck without the other person seeking counseling with you, we can work together in order to lessen the painful impact on you.
I have over 8 years' experience working with clients of all races, and many ethnicities. I also have 7 years' experience working with Gay, Lesbian and Bi-sexual clients. My therapeutic approach is an integration of psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness and existentialism, which is tailored specifically to you and your presenting issues. I appreciate that finding a therapist who is a good "fit" isn't always easy. While I hope that you will feel comfortable with me, I will be happy to provide referrals if it turns out that we are not a good "match." Regardless of who you choose as your therapist, I wish you the best in living your fullest, richest and most meaningful life.
